BioThis is my livejournal account for my character Juliri at Telgar Weyr, NC. She's paired to Dusky Activity Gold Malaith, which makes her a junior weyrwoman. The rest, you can find out through RP. :D
One thing can describe Juliri: mousy, in a sort of shy way. She has straight, thick, and dark brown hair which frames a somewhat pale face, now cut in a short bob. Her eyes are of a pale hue: close enough to an icy shade that they are often said to be gray instead of blue. Nose is small, thin, while high-boned cheeks rise up on each side, tainted with a light red flush. Lips are thin, though well-curved, often found to be pulled to the side from time to time, perched above a small chin. Her neck sweeps into a small torso, extending into a flattened midriff which in turn flares into wider hips. Her hips, likewise, taper down into a pair of tanned legs, muscled from regular use but not overly so. While she may look dainty, her height shows nothing of it, for she's tall for a female: 5'8" in stature. Also, a pendant rests around her neck (+detail is available).
Juliri is garbed in wherhide from head to toe, or close to it; sturdy boots protect her feet from Telgar's ground, and a warm flying jacket and trous keep her from the chill of between. Gloves are most often found shoved into a pocket. A Telgar knot on her shoulder with a dusky gold thread wound through it denotes her position as a Telgar Weyr goldrider.
Mellow and muted, she is the deep, dusky gold of sands lit only by Rukbat's failing rays. The subdued colours that sweep across her hide are no less constant than her rather more composed demeanour, soft sandy tones blending into a splendid ochre hue from head to tail. The uniformity is broken on haunches and back, shadowy nighttime shades accenting a pattern reminiscent of timeless wind-swept dunes. Though her hide is somewhat sedate, her wingsails provide a sharp, showy contrast; upper and lower dramatically divided between shadow and light in an undulating line. Visible only with a flick of tail, a dark spidery geometric pattern creeps up and along her belly. She is a bit more slender than other queens, and long-boned -- length of limb and size of claw showing that she has reached full growth.
Malaith looks to be around 18 Turns, 4 months, and 4 days, and has a length of 38.5 meters. Her wingspan, fully extended, is 63.91 meters.
